HI GUYS! TAYLOR HERE.
You, as reader are probably a little bit like me in some way.

We love think pieces of writing, which is also relatable.
We also may have in common things for books.
I never use to be a reader myself, but that's something I'm introducing to my 2019.

Dear diary,
I am currently trying this out by writing beforehand, instead of going straight off the laptop. I have Lewis Capaldi, someone you love playing on youtube. I have a can of Sprite to the side of me and it's came to my attention : what's better, sprite or Fanta? Today has been a very 'cba' Monday. I did my morning run and it's totally wiped me out for the rest of today. I need to start getting reasonable nights sleep, I'm not 15 anymore with the only worry of 'having enough time to do my make up before school to impress Jack.' I don't even bother with makeup for work now, so I have more time in the mornings. Talking about work, I want change. I love working for my Dad and everyone else, but I need to start something new and what I love. I'm talking fashion. I'm talking not wishing for the weekend to hurry along. That's all I ever do these days. Wishing for Friday when it's only hit 10.02am on  a Monday morning, and realising I've only been in for two minutes.
I need a change, and change is exciting instead of daunting.

Dear diary, shower or bath may you ask? Yes bath. No I am not lead out with a pen and paper to hand. I'm not that silly. I'm typing on my notes on my iPhone. Something else I'm going to start doing. I've got the water running, burning my toes in fact. The candle is lit and I've got my book ready. I'm currently reading A Women Of War If you're a fan of the Tattooist of Aushwich ~ you'd be a fan of this too. Tesco for just £2.99. Today has been pretty quick, which is good going as it's bank holiday weekend coming up. I've got plans made and even outfit choices too. We've heard no more about the house, still waiting to hear when the home owners have found a property. I hate all the waiting, I've pinned a million things to my kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and details boards on Pinterest. I have issues still, issues that I can't really speak about on here. But the issues don't necessarily lie with me. They involved me before I even knew I was part of it. I'm just very much fed up of this underlying issue and I'm ready to brush it under the carpet. But I'm feeling good and have't got much to report so I'm going to put my phone down, and zone into a few chapters and shave my legs. 20 degrees this weekend, my legs are coming out!

Dear diary, I'm coming straight to you from the tip of my fingers on the keyboard. I've left it late to speak to you, so I'm just going to go with it. (This once.) Lee is watching Liverpool play and I'm quite happy here doing my own thing. Laptop, nosing at H&M and dipping in and out of my book. I have a new book coming in the post tomorrow which I'm very excited to read. I think it's going to a popular one. (It is being released tomorrow.) It's fake Friday tomorrow, bank holiday weekend will finally be here. I'm so excited for this weekend. I don't know if I already told you this all important information? I'm planning to stay away from uploading to Instagram and just focus on having a really good time with Lee, friends and family. That's what these long weekends are for right? I, of course will still be snapping some outfit photos. That's just part of our weekends now. Lol. Soz Lee. I'm feeling a lot happier. I feel happy to say it too. Chow.x

Dear diary, I'm feeling like I've got my sh** together. I've waxed my lip, (mouth lips), I've fake tanned my legs and I'm so ready for this long weekend. Sorry to repeat myself for the millionth time. Lee is cooking fajitas for dinner tonight and I've got a Kopparberg Strawberry & Lime to one side. We've got Alexa playing, and I'm feeling pretty good inside. My head feels like it's back to normal. Although a phone call I received about forty minutes ago, could have took a toll on me. However, I've taught myself to put it to one side and deal with it at a later time. That's how I deal with my things. I'll deal with it later. I've got a message on my phone from a friend, she messaged me around 2pm and I've just left it. I'll get back to her, but sometimes I don't want to deal with things there and then. That's just how I deal with it. We're having a night without phones this evening which makes me really happy. I love just having a proper conversation. We all ge so caught up in our phones and what's the latest on our feeds, we forget how to properly interact. So the plan tonight is, no phones, David Attenborough, fajitas, a couple of ciders and more good TV. It's Friday tomorrow so I'm going to leave this weeks entries here and enjoy my time away from work and Instagram.(Maybe, we can never promise ourselves how long we'll stay away.) So peace out. Have a fab weekend pals <3
P.S we have nachos too. Whose starting the long weekend right?

Put your money into your accessories
You could create a million different looks.

Accessories are a girls best friend. They finish off every outfit whether it's a handbag or a pair of earrings. Patch Butcher earrings in mind. All the stores are bringing out the pearl hair clips, with Asos even bringing out the colourful butterfly clips that we all had in our hair at the age of 7. Click here, I ain't lying.

I personally had hair clips in my hair always, and sometimes more than five of them. If it's possible to do so at the age of twenty five - I'd give it a good try and hopefully get away with it. The three accessories that I can't stop wearing are hair clips, earrings and headbands. (Handbags too, but hey they aren't photographed in this blog post.)

So I'm going to share my Wishlist for accessories, because we all need them in our jewellery boxes, handbags or even spread across the bedroom and it's floor. (How I store my accessories. Lol.)

Wishlist at the ready :

hair accessories, sunglasses, jewellery and possibly a little layering..

hair heros and jazzy jewellery

Dear diary,
My first entry and hopefully not my last. I have had a whirl wind of emotions hit me the last few weeks, and I don't feel like it's ending anytime as of yet. The mixture of the emotions is getting on top of me and I don't know how to let them out. I've spoken about the problems, not all the problems are based on myself, and I have constant worries and anxiety surrounding me. It's like a big fuzzy cloud. I've got all the excitement about owning my very own home with my partner, but I also have the never ending carousel going round and round. I want to get out of this fuzzy mess, exercise helps but not enough. I'd love to indulge in all the chocolate and comfort food but that only makes me feel crappy afterwards. I can talk about it, but like I said. It doesn't help. Anyway, I'm home alone and enjoying my own self care. I've had a bath, indulged hair treatments in my hair and a good skin care regime. Now to dive back into Our Planet with David Attenborough.

Dear diary,
(I probably should be working, but I've got five where no one can see my computer screen, so..) Today has been a lot more positive. No negativity has come my way as of yet, but I've still got half the day to go as of yet. I've been recently adding to-do lists to my Instagram stories, and they're certainly making me feel like I have my shit together a lot more. If I show people my list, at least it looks good by ticking them off at the end of the day. I have no way of getting out of the list of jobs, that way. I've discovered Wayfair's app and I am going to spend my afternoon adding lots of bits to my wishlist. I am loving looking for home inspiration, I feel like it's my little escape. Something I can truly look forward to. I'm going to head out on a walk when I'm home. Just for twenty minutes, get some more steps in and breathe in the fresh air. I've got back into doing my Wednesday Wishlist's with my followers too and I thoroughly enjoy creating the polls and seeing the results. That allows me to just focus on something different for a change. I'm desperate to finish some more of Our Planet with David Attenborough too, and also Celebrity Bake Off. What a life I live! I do go outside with my evenings too, just a glass of wine and tv sounds a lot better on the sofa to me.

Dear diary, I've just been on a morning run! I can't believe it, but i actually ran most of the way. I'm so rubbish at running, but that doesn't make me want to give it up. (Yet!) I love taking in the morning frosty air, seeing the sun rise higher in the sky and hearing the birds wake up. I managed 4km, i've got race for life coming up in the summer and i'd like to feel fit enough to run the whole thing if i could. I'd feel like i'd have completed something for myself as well as doing it to raise money for others. Talking about race for life, i need to start thinking of more ideas to raise more money. I love doing things for other people and feeling like i'm making a difference. I've got work to complete today which is always rubbish on a Thursday. It's always long and never ending. Then i need to come home and do a whole load of tidying up and re-arranging. I'm having a night without a phone too, so hello downtime. I cannot wait for you to come along. Hurry up 3pm finish.

Dear diary, no morning run today. I was aiming for it, but my body was too tired. I didn't manage to go back to sleep though, so a 6.30am morning alarm wasn't a good idea what so ever. I'm hoping today goes a whole lot quicker than what yesterday had installed for me. I have a warm brew beside me and also my latest Instagram post on refresh. Just patiently hoping and waiting for all the likes this Friday morning, why am I so obsessed with Instagram? I like to share my outfits, I like to share my 'what I'm up to' captions, I like to see the support from others that I've never even met before, (and I probably never will.) I find it pretty amazing how platforms like Instagram can make you feel that way. It can also make you think that everyones lives are pretty easy to live by. Instagram has such a power where people forget, that theres real people behind these accounts. Just because they're sharing all their 'high lives' moments, doesn't mean they don't have daily struggles. I struggle, but also have days when I forget all about those struggles. I had a shit day Monday, but today I'm feeling pretty good. (Accept the fact that my body is already ready for a nap today.) Just because I didn't tell you about that said shit day on Instagram, doesn't mean I didn't have one. Just remember Instagram is like the front cover of a book. You were always told to never judge a book by it's front cover. The same goes for people.

Considering this is my first book that I've picked up this year and read it till the end without being on holiday, is a sign in itself. Never have I ever, (oops that rings a bell) read a book where I actually felt like highlighting different points as I was going along. Basically the idea was to highlight them, and then go back when I needed telling about how to be a grown up. I'm classed as an adult at 25 years old, and I still don't fully understand how to act 'grown up'.

1. How to love myself & feel more confident | Learn to work with the body that you have got and go from there, instead of hoping that looking in the mirror 'this time round' will give you the reflection of the girl you just stalked on Instagram. Ignoring sizes on clothing doesn't define you in anyway. It doesn't matter if it's got size 24 or size 4 on the tag. I like to remind myself that I can be three different sizes in the same shop, on the same day. Sometimes I also like to take time and carefully apply my make up which makes me feel even better. Like Daisy ~ she likes to apply her favourite scented body lotion (I'm jealous because hello eczema won't allow me) and just enjoying how soft her skin feels.

2. How to be healthy ~ mind and body | Doing positive things can be more important than you think. Just by eating your recommend 'five a day' or more, reading a few chapters or one, dancing to the radio or the all important Alexa. Even having a bubble bath or a shower where you just stand directly under the running water and take in how it's trickling down your body. I've started to put my phone away on week day evenings. Since reading how Daisy puts her phone on airplane mode between 10pm til 7am to get some down time, really stood out to me. I feel pressured to keep up with social media and reply to text messages as I'm sat down, relaxing for the evening. However, relaxing never really came part of my evenings because I could never fully switch off. Like Daisy says ~ 'Twitter might be the social network that never sleeps, but I need to'.

3. Being sad doesn't mean it's a bad thing | How often are we happy compared to sad? For me, I can say at the minute it's 60/40. (40% being sad.) Writing things down can help, doesn't have to be ever read after writing - but it can release feelings and allow you to process. Going for a walk fixes quite a lot of things too. Headaches, feeling sad, time out with your fluffy pal, getting extra steps in from your Fitbit. Taking in fresh air and just focusing on the sounds and sights you have around you is as cliche as it sounds - 'a breathe of fresh air'. Plus like Daisy said, when surrounded on a field of dogs - how can you feel sad?

4. Being jealous can mean you need a bit more love | Instead of chasing achievements and trying to be at the same level as everyone else in their own lives. Sometimes you need to focus on the fact that you're just as good as them. As Daisy says 'I'm enough if I exist just as I am.' Nobody is you and that is something that will never be taken away from you either. If you find how to love yourself, you will find that people will be jealous. Confidence is key, but that doesn't mean you have to walk out of the front door ready to take on the world. It means putting on your favourite fragrance which relates to a happy, ass-kicking time, which will help hold your head a little higher.

5. Made a mistake, sleep then deal with it | This has saved me most recently. When we freak-out and make tiny breathless panics in attempt to fix the problem, it's usually better to sleep on it or to sit down with a cuppa and a whole pack of custard creams. (Daisy says Hob Nobs, but I'm a sucker for custard creams.) When making mistakes too, tell someone straight away. You may not tell the person who could potentially tell you off. Instead, tell your Mum because if anything at the age of 25 the only person who can tell you off for making a mistake is your Mum. And 90% of the time, your Mums always right. They tell you from the age of five that they are, which sadly means they still are at twenty five. And probably at fifty five too.

5 Top Tips I Learned From How To Be A Grown Up By Daisy Buchanan

Instead, tell your Mum because if anything at the age of 25 the only person who can tell you off for making a mistake is your Mum. And 90% of the time, your Mums always right. They tell you from the age of five that they are, which sadly means they still are at twenty five. And probably at fifty five too.

One thing in my mid twenties have taught me is that you experience with make up a whole lot less. I mean I'd always be open to sitting at the beauty counters and getting pampered, and my make up done. But at the same time, the chances of me walking away with a whole new make up bag is unlikely.

I've got a make up routine that I am happy with and I feel benefits my skin. So I'm going to get down with business on every product and why I'm a always repurchasing. Again and again.

For my base I've become overly obsessed with the IT Cosmetics CC Cream. I use the shade Light, which I am a pale type of girl but I need a little tan/colour to my skin. I find it's full coverage for my skin, it gives me a glow and hydrates my skin whilst having SPF 50. Just a couple (for less coverage) and three pumps for (evening full coverage) ~ a little goes a loongggg way. It also keeps to being full coverage over time. I'm also very interested in trying the other two CC Creams. The matte coverage and also illumination to see the three compared to each other. But I'll hype this up to everyone as this is the first foundation that I have used for the longest amount of time. (Trust me, I'm normally using three types at different times.) But this is the one and only the one I use.

Then to add a little more colour to my complexion, I like to use the Maybelline Master Bronzer & Highlight Palette. (Highlight not so much, bronzer yes.) I use the three darker shades, mainly the two centred shades. It blends out really well, you can either use this as a bronzer palette or even a contour. I must admit this won't be for everyone as there is only four shades to pick from, but you can build up the product for the perfect shade and coverage. This has lasted me many of months too as instead of one you have a few shades to choose from.

That is just my base. Small and simple, but I like to add more bold to my lip and lashes.

For my eyes, I like to use the Smashbox single eye shadow in the shade Nude. I've come to terms with not all shades will suit my eyes and look. Browns are more my 'thang'. I like to keep my eyes simple with this shadow, and even a little shimmer from the Becca Après Ski Glow Palette palette for a little more 'party' look. These shades don't crease, they glide on your lids just as good with your finger as a brush. They blend beautifully too. It's not so easy to get your hands on but for shimmers, they're highly pigmented which is a winner. *Of course.*
Then my lashes I am loving the IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara. I was highly persuaded by Chloe Plumstead when she shared what mascara she uses. At first I wasn't convinced, however now I've transferred my everyday mascara. It gives volume to my lashes and enhances the length. The formula is buildable for a more bolder make up look, but you can also use a little amount for a more natural lashes. Whilst building up the product, there is no flaking and no clumps. I've finally found a mascara that benefits my make up.

Then lastly for the all important brows. I've been using the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper. This is my only brow product. I'm all for the fluffy eye brow look. A lot of you comment on my brows and this is my answer! Just combing through the brows, makes them fuller and gives them shape. Leaves them looking natural and the brush is the perfect size for my brows. (A lot of brow products with combs are far too big for my brows.) This one is the perfect size.

My make up routine is that simple and short. I can get ready in the time frame of ten minutes, but I also can add a little more 'vavoom' for the special nights out and them days where effort is more capable.

Just add a red bold lip (my favourite go to at the mo) and boom ~ I'm ready in a flash.
