Skincare is something I’ve taken quite seriously in the last year or so. The teenage years was all about the quick and easy make up wipes, and the reapplied make up on top of the morning application. Grim, yes – but we all did this. Simple skincare has been a forever brand for me, and they are my safety net. Glossier is a hit and miss for me at the moment, my eczema break out has my skin super super sensitive. Then for Sister & Co, a brand I have recently discovered and wish I did sooner.
Simple Micellar Cleansing Water | This is what I use at the beginning of my skincare routine, morning and evening. It removes all make up, face and eyes. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, it’s like removing your make up with water but it’s efficient. There’s no irritation but clean and clear skin. I’ve been a Garnier Micellar Water girl for a long time, but this is worth the extra pounds as I’ve had no irritation. Garnier could have caused me for a break out with eczema and I wouldn’t want to have that happen again. This is perfect for sensitive skin friends like me.
Sister & Co Cleanser True Cleanser Oil | This works wonders for removing make up, and it also leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth. It’s the perfect cleanser to remove my make up without any reactions to my eyes, so eye make up can be removed easily too. It also comes with a cleansing cloth so it’s mess free when removing any make up and dirt from your skin. Using this has made my skin feel like it can finally breath after using it. I use this cleanser whether I’m wearing make up or not.
Glossier Moon Mask | I’ve mentioned this in a million blog posts already, but hey I really flipping love it. (I’m trying to take the more swear-friendly approach to my blog posts.) This hydrates your skin, reduces any redness and it also plumps your skin. It leaves it looking fresh and clean. I’m all for trying out the other Glossier mask too, add it to my next order? Hmmmmm, it’s a possibility.
Sister & Co Super Seed Facial Formula | This has become my glowy piece of heaven. For real. So I use this after I remove my make up and cleanse my skin. It isn’t sticky nor oily, it leaves my skin feeling super soft and revitalised. It also smells incredible too! You can tell the oil is made of natural ingredients as it feels super luxurious on my skin. I would recommend this to everyone of you as it’s a life (skin) changer.
Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser | This moisturiser is the lightest and non greasy moisturiser I’ve used in a long time. A little goes a long way and it also acts as a good primer with my IT Cosmetics CC Cream. It sinks straight into your skin and has become a holy grail for me. It really hydrates my skin and is perfect for my morning skincare. For the evening I use the Night cream which you can use as an overnight mask. Simple skincare is amazing for sensitive skin and I’ve never had any problems with it being eczema prone and also sensitive.
That’s everything that’s currently in my skincare routine. Simple skincare is my safety net. I like to add in different products at different stages but keep Simple within it. This way I can see what is causing me reactions, so I wouldn’t use it again.
What’s your holy grail skincare product right now?
