Three foundations which I’ve heard everyone rave about. From high end to budget beauty – I have you covered.
I’m never someone who really reaches out to trying new foundations, once I find a good one – I’d normally stick to what I know. When it comes to finding the perfect foundation – I do prefer a medium to full coverage over anything else. I also like to find one which really does last all day long as I’m one of those – when I’ve applied my make up, I don’t want to have to worry about topping it up throughout a long day on the go.
The Ordinary Serum Foundation | This foundation I’d say is more to medium coverage, but you can build this one up over and over. It blends out really nicely onto the skin, it’s long lasting and gives a satin finish. It’s super light weight once applied, and the liquid is more runny for a foundation compared to the other two. It also includes SPF which is pretty good considering the price tag. A lot does go a long way and that’s what my most favourite thing is about this foundation. For around five pound this foundation will cost you – and you just cannot go wrong. I just wish the foundation would come along with a lid. (My shade 2.0P Light Medium // Pink Undertones).
L’Oreal True Match Foundation | The drugstore foundation which is totally worth the £9.99 price tag. With 28 shades to choose from ~ that’s pretty impressive for a high street foundation right? It blends out really well and leaves your skin looking flawless. The coverage I’d say is medium to high coverage, and you can again – build it up. It’s the perfect everyday foundation. (My shade 2.R/2.C Rose Vanilla).
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation | This is my newest foundation out of the three, and oh it’s so worth spending that little bit extra. I actually picked this up at The Cosmetic Company store which is in Gunwharf Quays Outlet Shopping Centre for £23.00. The coverage is high, and the finish leaves my skin looking flawless. It’s really long lasting and super light weight on the skin, I have an oily T Zone and still ~ it doesn’t budge. This is one foundation that I’ve found that doesn’t remove make up when wearing my glasses. (Might sound silly but it’s always been a nightmare with being a specs wearer.) I’m currently using this foundation along with the Glossier Priming Moisturiser and it’s the perfect duo. I’d highly recommend trying these together if you have them! (My shade 2N1 Desert Beige.)
That’s my go to foundations – what do you recommend me trying next time?
