So what’s been happening in the life of Taylor Jane is some exciting emails but my emails are still radio silent. I’ve been upping my exercise routine weekly as you know Bridesmaid dress fittings this week and also I’ve been making the most out of my Garmin fitness watch. The snow has been and gone and I’m so happy to see the hills of random snow/ice on the sides of the road even though the English weather is still not perfect. *Hello rain clouds.* I’m still currently editing my CV to hopefully look at some new jobs whether that’s full time or part time. And also I’m still totally obsessed with this bargain of a handbag which people are saying it’s a dupe of a designer but I just see that pretty bag I got for a total bargain. *Inserts unsure emoji with hands in the air.*
5 Lifestyle Favourites..
Primark Crossbody Handbag | So I actually caught this over on Terri Heckley’s Instagram page and I instantly fell in love with it. I’m all for small crossbody handbags for day and evening wear, whether they’re practical or not – I’m much more of a smaller handbag type of girl. You have an adjustable handle so you can make it long enough to go over your body or short enough for just over the shoulder. I love the gold detailing at the front which of course, is the main focal point. It’s big enough to fit my must haves when leaving the house : phone, card holder, tangle teezer and lipstick of choice that day. Camera fits too but you have to sacrifice the tangle teezer and with this British weather, I cannot do that so phone camera has to be the best you’ll get.
Kate Spade Phone Case | This is actually for an iPhone 8 and I have the 7, but it fits. I don’t know about anyone else but I love to update and change my phone case after every couple of months. It makes me feel like I have a new phone, alright? I love the striped rose gold pattern along with the white. It’s classy and pretty for photos. Considering I got it from TKmaxx – you can imagine how much of a bargain it actually was!
Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine | The book we are all reading! I’ve actually finished this book and I was so sad when it ended. I enjoyed it so much that I read it within a week, as it’s one of those books that keep reeling you in. Towards the end – it gets even better and you have to see how big the next chapter is, to see if you can find another before switching off to sleep. It’s a must read. This is the first book of 2018 that I have actually read and completed, and believe me I’ve tried reading 3/4 books before hand and I didn’t find any good compared to this.
Pretty & Pink Notepad | At the beginning of the year, everyone was talking about their Bullet Journal. I love the idea, and I love the creativity behind it – however I just haven’t got the time to plan it all to then complete it. So instead, I picked up this gorgeous Lady Jayne Ltd notebook from TKmaxx. (Again, another bargain.) This is my very own Bullet Journal in a Note Book. I have added pages so far which include : 2018 predictions, self care, things I’m good at, places I want to visit, a saving tracker, books I’ve read, blogging stats & social media, brands I’ve worked for and tracking my Pinterest boards. I love tracking my blogging and social media to see which goals I’m hitting monthly. Bulleting self care, so whenever I need a little I can always find something that will make me happy. A money saving tracker, so I can see it isn’t going all bad and all going on Glossier/Beauty Bay.
StylPro Brush Cleaner | I kindly got gifted this for a Christmas present and it’s the best thing I’ve ever been given. It saves money, and it saves time. Money? The water bill was probably 10% higher when it was the week of me washing my make up brushes. *Joke moment.* It did take me forever! It use to take me around an hour and a half to wash every single brush under warm running water and swirl around on my Real Techniques washing board. Now it takes half the time by far with having a little device that does all the hard work for me. I’ve actually written more of a detail post on this gadget here.
That’s a few things I’m loving right now.
Are you reading any good books at the moment, or even bullet journalling yourself this year?
