The Maybelline Tattoo Brow : Review

Hello you little gems.

Maybelline Tattoo Brow is a peel off semi-permanent tinted product. It’s meant to last up to 3 days.

I have been using this Tattoo Brow on and off for the last few weeks/month or so. You just apply the product onto your brows, allow it to sit for 20 minutes and then peel it off.

I found the product/formula quite gloopy, and thick when applying. The first time round I was really wary on how much to apply, so I applied a thin layer and it made it difficult to peel off the product. The second time round, I applied a lot more of a thicker layer and it was a whole lot easier to peel off.

MY VERDICT

I really quite like this Tattoo Brow. It lasts me around 3 days, the product itself does fade. A lot of people describe it to go ginger, but I’d say it goes lighter where it fades. I use the dark brown on my eye brows, and it fades to a light brown. I like to use this when it comes to my last day at work on the Friday, so it’s one less thing I have to worry about when it comes to the weekends and doing my make up. Sometimes I go without adding any brow products at all to my brows, or I sometimes use the Glossier Boy Brow to go over the brows to give them better shape and more of a defined look. Once the product is peeled off there is no sign of smudging from the product, and I’d recommend this to anyone who sometimes likes to be a little lazy or goes for a more natural look often.

Is this something that interests you?

You can find it in three shades – dark brown, medium blonde/light brown and medium brown. I have black to light brown balayage and I use dark brown.

hmm im so 50/50 about this product! saw it and thought YES this looks amazing…but im just not sure if it would work on my own brows! mine aren’t very thick/bushy at all so i feel like it would really look like it’s just painted paint on my face with paint…

I’m so skeptical about using this! I’ve heard such mixed reviews so I’m so intrigued to try it out myself one and for all xx

I want to try this but my brows are so sparse and I worry the blonde shade may be warm, I didn’t know they had a blonde option, they must just not have had it in stock when I looked. I might give it a go cause if it works it’s worth it and I’m so pleased it works for you xxx

I think it’s so much better than what people say. I think you really have to go with the product on your eye brows to get a good result. It’s scary applying it the first time round but the difference that it makes with more on and it being thicker makes it so much better and easier to peel off! xx
