So every month I like to come across new products to try. Whether they’re new or old. I like to go through my beauty collection and see what’s a new favourite of mine. I think it’s a great way to try out new products, but also reuse old products that I may have totally forgotten about and is dug well under the rest.
So let’s get down to business..
Lush Sleepy Lotion
This sleep lotion has been a huge favourite of mine. I first off purchased it in the smaller tub (95g) as I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. I’ve become obsessed so I purchased the bigger size (215g). So Sleepy is a body lotion which you smother your body in before bed! It’s enriched with lavendar and cocoa butter, which is balancing and calming. I don’t think there’s anything better than dipping into Sleepy, before stepping into my PJS for a cosy evening.
Essie Nail Polish
Over Christmas, Essie released an advent calendar and I was so desperate to get my hands on it. It ended up going into the sale closer to Christmas for just ten pounds, so I finally got my hands on it. You got a mixture of polishes, to your top coats and more and also your nail tools. Having the full package of nail products and accessories, Essie Nail polishes are so worth purchasing. The gel top coat really does make the nail varnish last a whole lot longer, and also it doesn’t chip! It’s like having your nails done at a salon but in your very own home.
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
This is something I’ve wanted to try for such a long time. I’ve heard such good reviews about this pillow spray, but have always wondered whether it’s actually worth purchasing or not. It seems a little mad that a spray can really help you sleep better? Exactly what I thought. I’ve been using this every single night basically since Christmas, and it’s been an absolute joy in my life. I find it hard to fall off to sleep at night, and this does work. I have also tried night sleeps without it to compare, and I won’t be putting this down again. It’s become a bedside must have!
Ouai Smooth Spray
Ouai is a brand that’s becoming pretty popular within the beauty community. I have previously tried out other products from Ouai and I have had such mixed opinions about them. I picked up this smooth spray at SpaceNK, and have continuously used it every time I wash my hair. It leaves your hair feeling smooth and back to life. It makes it a lot easier to brush through your hair – wet or dry. It also protects against thermal heat which is an added bonus!
Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara
I first got my hands on this through the website Influenster – which is basically a website/platform where you can sign up as a blogger and you can answer many of questions to be able to get sent products to try out and review. I was pretty chuffed when this came through my door, as I’ve never tried anything from Marc Jacobs Beauty. Since then, I also received another mascara as a birthday present and I was super happy as this has become my go-to. It gives volume to the lashes, gives plenty of length and is clump-free. I have a full review of this product here.
That’s my current five favourites, and I will continue to use these throughout 2018.
