Hello you nosey chums.
I’ve been spending again and you’re here to see what I got and whether you need it not right? There’s a repurchase or two, and two of my most favourite everyday products. Then there’s some total newbies, including the one with the most christmassy packaging.
Every month I say that I’m not spending, and then I round them up and next minute – I’ve not only spent some money, iv’e spent a lot more than I thought. But hey – what can you do? Accept tell yourself next month you’re not spending at all and then next minute – you remember it’s the Christmas and birthday month.
So let’s get down and …
Sleek Cosmetics Highlighter Palette | I’m becoming a highlighter addict at the moment, and Sleek highlighters are pretty raved about – so of course, I needed to give them a go myself. I have tried this out a few times, but I can’t say I’m a fan of every shade of highlighter. However, three of the highlighters are more velvet/creamy where as I love a powder. I find powders are a much safer option, and with there only being one. You can probably guess which one is my to go-to from this palette.
Sleek Matte Me Lip Gift Set | The four shades that you get are Birthday Suit, Rioja Red, Velvet Slipper and Old Hollywood. The perfect line up of lip shades for Christmas, I’m so totally ready for Rioja Red for Christmas Day! They’re minis so perfect to fit in a smaller handbag on a night out or something! For £6 for all four, they’d make the perfect gift for someone who loves lipstick.
Mac Cosmetics Lipstick – I’m Glistening | Firstly packaging is on point for the Christmas collection. I wish I got more of the collection, but I am totally digging this shade. I love these lipsticks as you can build them up, and reapplying may happen but still just as good as a lot of liquid mattes.
Girls With Attitude Aphrodite Eyeshadow Palette |* My type of palette has to include shimmers and this palette includes them, along with velvety mattes and metallics. I love how this palette does have single names for each shade included in the palette, which is such a good touch to any palette. I can see myself using this a lot over the Christmas period.
John Fredia Heat Defeat | So this was a must have with this months purchases. I’ve recently dyed my hair, just the ends a lot lighter so I have balayage. I’ve rarely purchased products for my hair, let alone heat protectors. Yes, I know what an idiot. However, the chances of you seeing me getting ready using a hair dryer or hair straighteners – is very unlikely. However, the Christmas season is here and I will be doing a lot more than coming home and spending my days in my pjs – so of course, I needed to sort my shit out and get some hair products that’s going to keep my hair within good condition.
NYX Professional Make Up Pore Filler | This is my f a v o u r i t e out of the whole lot. I don’t know what I’d do without this primer. I apply this around my nose, forehead and chin area and it just fuzzes out all my pores. It certainly minimises my pores, and it’s a must have within your make up routine. It dries matte, and my make up doesn’t budge considering I use this on my most oily sections.
Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel | I think this has been in every post ‘what’s new in the beauty stash’ every month, since it’s been out for the Christmas season. I am obsessed, forever will be. It smells amazing, and it produces enough bubbles to relax within and yeah – it makes my skin smell freekinggg again.
Mac Cosmetics Lipstick Faux | I have this obsession with Mac lipsticks at the moment. I don’t know why and I don’t know what started it. However, I’m totally digging this shade. They’re super creamy and really hydrating on the lips, doesn’t feel like you’re wearing any lipstick. You get more of a satin finish, but it dries semi matte.
Lush Eau Roma Water – Toner | This is something a little different. I’ve never tried any of Lush skincare until this purchase. I am running low on my Loreal Toner that I decided to change to a new one. This one is a spray, and it’s super refreshing on my skin. I like to spray and just pat dry the product into my skin. Super hydrating and softens my skin.
Maybelline Master Sculpt Contour | This is a repurchase, as this is my third one. I love this, it’s a gorgeous cool brown on my skin. I can’t say I’ve ever used the highlighter side, as I use this for only the contouring. I use this with my Nude By Nature angled brush which creates definition to my jaw line and cheek bones, and I also love to add a little around the forehead for a warmer look to my skin. I like how it’s a powder as I work better with powders, no mistakes can be made. It’s long lasting and so worth repurchasing for the price.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Powder – Translucent | This is something new to the make up collection, however I haven’t got round to actually trying out the product. I’ve seen that a lot of people have raved about this, first coming from people in America as they got it before us in the UK. So of course, I needed to try. Powders are a must have in a make up routine to keep make up in lock and give a matte finish. I’m really excited to try this out, as it also minimises yours pores, and if that’s the case it would work perfectly with the NYX Pore Filler Primer.
Loreal True Match Foundation | Another repurchase is this Loreal Foundation. I must say this is my go to from the Drugstore foundations. It’s the perfect match to my skin tone, and for the amount of shades they have – it’s amazing and a lot easier to match yourself to your own shade. It’s super long lasting on the skin, and doesn’t budge until a days worth of wearing.
What’s new to your beauty stash? I want to know! <3
