5 Things We Should All Do This Autumn

It’s all of our favourite time of year, even if you say you’re against you – you love it deep down.

The cosy evenings wrapped up like a burrito in your fluffy blanket watching a good documentary or watching your favourite Disney film. Fluffy socks are up there in my top favourites. Hot chocolates are a must, especially when Costa release their Orange Hot Chocolate. Lighting all of the candles to make your home like your village cathedral. All of the chocolate you buy for trick or treaters to have plenty left over for you. Bonfire night and Halloween parties.

If you don’t – piss off and don’t come back until Autumn is over. October is the month of the freaking year.

However, you not got any plans?

Me neither, but I have now..

Pumpkin picking | I have never ever gone down to pick myself my very own pumpkin. I’ve never even carved my own pumpkin. Every year I have said I’m going to do it, and this year is the year. I am so excited, on a Sunday go down and pick one and then get carving. It’ll be pretty interesting as I am not someone who is creative – but hey I’m gonna do it. I’m one of those that would carve a penis shape into the pumpkin, not a face or some Disney character. I’m a immature bitch like that.

New Forest walks | I want to go on walks. I miss having my little pup Oscar to take on the odd walk, but I want to keep it up. Having a dog is always a winner, and I mean my brother is soon getting one so maybe I can just take that little chap along with me. The New Forest is just woods after woods and fields after fields, you could get lost and just enjoy it. You might not be close by, but go somewhere local and do it!

Have as many pub Roast Dinners as I can | I am not someone who likes a roast dinner every Sunday. However, when I feel like I fancy one – I’m going to go out and get myself one. Pub roast dinners are always a good idea, eat it -> get in a food coma -> get home and put pjs on -> get the candles lit -> and relaxxxxxx.

Get as many Halloween lush bath bombs as possible | I never really treat myself to bath bombs and everything else from Lush when the seasons come in. Everyone goes cray cray over them, and I’m always behind on it all. I normally get a hell load for Christmas so I’m excited for that, but I have none for now. So I’m going to treat myself to some at the end of the month, I mean Halloween will be over with but I’m hoping I can grab a few – if not the whole Christmas collection will be in full swing.

Watch all the films | When I mean films I mean : Hocus Pocus, The Conjuring 2 (as Lee isn’t brave enough to watch it just yet), Mean Girls, a little Scary Movie. Bit of a random selection, but you see my point – all based around Halloween of some sort. Well accept The Conjuring, that’s just some freaky shit. I’m also talking, lights off, candles on, blanket out, and being super cosy. However with The Conjuring, lights need to be on as I’m not a brave one when watching scary films.

What are you planning to get up to the Halloween/Autumn?

Mean Girls was one of the first movies my bf and I watched once Fall rolled around! Just in time for October 3 hahah. I'm excited to have a pup as that means more walks in the morning/evening to enjoy the weather as it gets crisp.

I've never picked my own pumpkin either and I really want to! I'm not sure if I'll get round to it this year, but there's always next year right?! Switching the lights off, putting the candles & fairy lights on, chucking on your pj's and snuggling down to watch feel good TV or a movie is my fave thing everrr xo
