Another month, and plenty to share with you all again.
I just can’t help it. I spend and spend, and I never feel like I’ve ever brought a lot but then it comes to this post and I get it altogether and i think sweet baby Jesus – I got spend happy this month.
What I am l haven’t tried..
The Estee Edit by Estee Lauder Blusher
I picked this gorgeous blush in the Cosmetic Outlet store over in Gunwharf. I saw this on Instagram and thought it was so so pretty compared to my other blushers. Instantly, I needed it. It’s super pigmented and is quite bright for a blusher for me. I’m more of a deep pink for blusher, but this would look gorgeous again in the summery months. For ten pounds, I had to get it.
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil*
I am super excited to give this a try. I am really into my cleansers at the moment but I like to do them in the shower, because it’s so much easier to wash off. I’m currently double cleansing too as I’ve never been a fan of that, but it’s becoming more frequent within my skincare routine. It’s meant to remove all make up and dirt, which is always a winner. How many times do we remove our make up and think it’s all off until we cleanse and then really see that it’s all off? That’s why cleansing is pretty important within your skincare.
The Ordinary Peeling Solution
Something that isn’t for sensitive skin, and I have sensitive skin. Fab. (I didn’t read that bit when purchasing!) So this will be interesting, so I will get back to you on how this one goes down. It’s a bit like a cleanser.
Products I’ve tried a few times
So I have the Radiance Day Cream which is super gorgeous on the skin. It contains SPF15 which is amazing too, even on them dull days the sun can still come out and this will keep your skin protected. It recharges the skin and re-hydrates. I use this every morning on clean skin, as well as my neck.
I also have the Calming Creamy Cleanser, which again I am loving. I am switching between this one and The Body Shop one, so my skin doesn’t get use to any product. I find my skin does this very well. It removes make up, impurities and oils without drying out the skin.
GWA Eye Shadow Palettes*
So first up I have the Midnight Dreams palette which includes a gorgeous mixture of shades. You have the mattes which are super creamy, which also makes the pigmentation incredible. There is plenty of shimmer shades which are always creamy, and applying them gives me so much happiness. Lol. You have the cool toned browns, with a touch of grey and dark blues. Perfect shades for a midnight palette.
I also have the Bombshell palette which again, super creamy mattes and shimmers. This type of palette you’d use in the Autumnal months, coppers, bronzed shades and plenty of shimmers.
Kiss Lip Plumping System*
This is something I’ve never tried before, or never thought of purchasing. However, once I had it – I had to give it a go! Surprisingly I loved it, but I think I need to get a lot more use out of it. I’ve only tried this a couple of times – but so far so good!
I have the Hydraluron, which is a facial moisturising booster serum containing hyaluronic acid. It absorbs water like a sponge and it’s created to give the skin an appearance of fullness and plumpness. I like to use this in the morning, before applying make up so my skin looks refreshed.
I’ve also got the Vitamin C24 which I used a lot on my holiday, and am still loving now. I use this every other morning and evening before I moisturise. I use this on my face and neck too.
What I am fricking loving
Kiko Water Eyeshadows
I already have the shade 205 which I totally fell in love with. Of course, I picked up another two perfect for the up coming months. I have the shade 209 which is a gorgeous khaki/olive shade, this is super creamy and super pigmented and I cannot wait to use it again. I also have the shade 235 which is a super pretty orange/copper shade with a hint of gold. Again – super creamy, and I love this along with a blue eye liner for the water line – totally gorgeous combo.
The Body Shop Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Exfoliator
I love this, as I find it does two jobs in one. It’s an exfoliator but it also cleanses the skin. I use this when I’m showering as that saves less mess and time. My skin feels brand new when I use this, honestly – I am seriously loving this right now. My skin is becoming super oily in certain places, and this is a life saver. It doesn’t smell like seaweed either, it smells super fresh and clean.
I have a super creamy shadow in the shade 313, which is a gorgeous light copper shade. These are hell creamy though, so a little product goes a long way. It would be the perfect shadow for a cut crease. I also got myself a Longwear Lipstick in the shade 503. When first applying/swatching this shade looks like a dark nude, but after applying it and leaving it to dry – it comes out more pinky than expected. However, it’s a gorgeous shade for a deep berry lip.
TooFaced Shadow Insurance
With shadow primers, I don’t see the craze about them but I wanted to give this one a go. I have used the Urban Decay shadow primer before, and I can’t say I miss it – as I can’t see a difference. Same again for this one, I mean it says it’s a anti-crease product but I don’t use it for that reason. However, it’s doing the job of keeping my shadow on, like it does without it – so it’s gotta be good. Right? What’s your opinions on shadow primers?
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips
I saw these and had to give one a try, I LOVE IT. Perfect nude shade for me. It’s a gorgeous dark nude, which is the go to shade when it comes to either – an over the top make up or just the ‘no make up look’. I find that it lasts up to 3-4 hours with eating and drinking, which is always a bonus.
That’s everything! I will be sharing posts within all of these products individually, so look out for which products have ‘POST’ next to them as that will be the direct link to the posts.
