Urban Decay are absolutely smashing it with the Naked Heat palette right now, which I reviewed as soon as I got it.
This time it’s all about the Naked 2 palette.
This palette is all the shades that I would look for within a single palette.
You have the glitz and shimmer, as well as the smooth matte shades. The two mix that should always be delivered within a palette.
You have the taupe-hued neutrals that include a gorgeous grey, the bronzed browns and the shimmery coppers. Along with the darkest black for that typical smokey eye look.
You could create the perfect every day look, along with a little extra for work. You also have the shades for a solid/bold look for a big event/night out – or even date night!
I love the packaging, a lot different to the Naked Heat. It’s a little old school – it literally reminds me of them tin pencil cases you’d take to school. ( I had a power-puffs one and it brings back them memories.) Lol. It’s really secure, and I just love the colour of the packaging. It goes so well with the shades inside.
Shades inside :
Foxy – The perfect matte, base shade, more transparent in the swatch photo. Not the best.
Half baked – A golden shimmer, screams Christmas.
Bootycall – Similar to foxy, but you can actually see it in the swatch. More pigmented.
Chopper – More of a bronzed shimmer.
Tease – Matte mocha.
Snakebite – Dark bronzed shimmer.
Suspect – A light bronzed shimmer, touch of beige/gold.
Pistol – A grey/brown shimmer shade.
Verve – A pearly shimmer.
YDK – Medium/cool bronze.
Busted – A deep brown shimmer.
Blackout – The deepest black matte shade.
This palette is more focused on the shimmer shades, than the mattes. That’s what I like. Coming up to Christmas/Winter you get all the shimmers out, to look like that over the top glitzy Christmas decoration on your tree.
As usual with the Naked palettes, they’re cruelty free and you also get a double ended shadow/blending brush which I loved the brush included in the Naked Heat palette so I’m hoping the same with this one.
What’s your favourite Urban Decay palette, without including Naked Heat? We all love that palette, I know.
