It’s getting hot hot hot.
Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnnnnnnn.
Everyone please put your hands together for the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette.
Which is out at the end of the month! Let me to show you why you N E E D to get your hands on it..
Let’s just start of by saying that the packaging is just everything. The matchbox affect it has with the detailing of the actual matchsticks is just everything. Burrrrrn baby, burrrrn! The whole sha-bang really runs well from the packaging to the shadows. Urban Decay you naughty little devils, you nailed it.
Just like a lot of eye shadow palettes you always get a brush that comes along with it. Like usual, a lot of the time the brushes are no good. However, I’d like to rave about this brush inside this palette. Total gem. It blends all the shadows really well, the bristles are soft and I’m just hoping they wash up as well but I will fo’sure keep you updated on that hunnies. I’d say both ends of the brush works well as a blending brush, either that or the shadows are that fabulous at blending in.
All about the amber-hued neutrals, including the warm browns and burnt oranges and the deeeeeep ambers. I am such a sucker for all the warm tones, and if you are they then these will suit you to a T. You have the mattes, shimmers and a few shades you could use as a base. You can create the perfect smokey eye within this palette too, which is always a must have in a palette. I don’t find any fall out on the shimmers, just for the mattes a winsy, insy bit. But you always have a little bit don’t you?
Safe to say that them shimmers just jump out to you straight away right? Holy crap, I can see this becoming my go to. I can see this hitting the pan pretty damn quickly.
I feel like the mattes didn’t swatch as well as the shimmers, where the shimmers were more rich, velvet and thicker than the mattes. I’ve seen a lot of people say with the other Urban Decay palettes that a lot less money went into them from the other type of shadows, and I feel like this could have happened with this palette. BUT, it’s still a smokin’ hot palette.
This is going to go perfectly with the NARS Loaded palette. I’ve already created some looks over on my Instagram.
What’s your holy grail eye shadow palette?
