Don’t you just love them days/evenings where there wasn’t anything planned until last minute? Aren’t they the best of plans?!
That’s basically what my week has been all about, last minute plans.
Throughout the week was pretty boring and plain but I did see one of my good friends for a drink down a gorgeous pub/restaurant. We met up to talk about exciting plans and have some girlie time. (I love a good bit of girlie time!) Other than that my week was just going to work, coming home and getting on with this – my blog.
This weekend was a good one though, I was only thinking the other day I need to start making my weekends more fun and packed with things to do – so they go a lot slower. Spending all my time at home, getting on with blog photos/content makes my time go so quickly and so pointless. You get to Sunday night feeling ‘what did I actually do this weekend?’ Hate it when it’s like that.
Friday night, Lee and I went over to our friends for cocktails and fajita night. THE BEST COMBO. It ended up being such a fun night, two of our other friends came over after dinner so we had endless amount of cocktails. There was Daiquiris (Strawberry&Mango) , Mud Slides and plenty of others being whipped up! They tasted as good as they looked. Once we all had a few we ended up playing Heads Up which is a game you can get on the App Store. (If you haven’t played, next time your with friends/family drinking – download it, it’s so much fun.)
Saturday I had well deserved lazy morning, and Lee and I went and got my car cleaned – (fun). Then we had a naughty Gregs for brunch and went over to TKMAX in Hedge End. I needed a sleeve for my MacBook and I managed to pick a gorgeous Kate Spade blue polka dot one! I LOVE IT. It’s dark blue with white polka dots with a red ‘Kate Spade’ badge on the front, and the inside is the same shade red. In the evening we headed over to Gunwharf Quays which is an outlet store and we went to Bella Italia. This place – their food is gorrrrrgeous. We had pizza and it was divine. I’d totally recommend here if you have one nearby – so much better than the usual Italian restaurants.
For today it’s all about being lazy, Lee watching the football and me being active on social media and all about that Sunday roast. It’ll be my first of 2017 and I am so excited to feed my face later.
Now I’ve finished going on about my week, how about what I’ve been thinking about this week? There’s so many bloggers/instagram accounts that I am totally adoring at the moment. The reason I’m telling you? I’m going to share these accounts with you. The ones you want to keep an eye out for, because good things are going to happen to them this year. I think 2017 is the year for them to shine so listen out..
