There is nothing worse than spending a little or a lot on something that just doesn’t suit you, or give you the outcome you was looking for. I love make up shopping so much and a lot of the time I am just open to anything – when purchasing. Obviously there’s times where I know what I’m looking for and I’ll get it – however sometimes I’ll just buy it because it looks nice. We all do it, bloggers don’t you try and act like you don’t know what I’m talking about.

The Body Shop British Rose Palette was something I picked up for the ‘sake’ of it. I thought the colours were gorgeous, specially with Spring coming – them shades just sing Spring. I also picked this up for super cheap as I got it from The Body Shop at the Gunwharf Outlet Shopping Centre. It was the Christmas sales too, so super cheap really. The shades are basically pinks, pretty pale but I thought they’d do perfectly for a chilled, neutral make up look. They are sooooooo pale, so when it’s applied to my eyes – it just looks like I have nothing on. You have the darker shade to try and create the smokey eye look, to make them more bold. However, this just didn’t go down well with me. I like palettes that have a wide range of different tones, this has it – but when applied they don’t have the same effect. G-U-T-T-E-D!
Something I received months and months ago, but I thought I’d throw this in there. This is the Revlon Dramatic Definition. Nah-ah there is no Dramatic look you get with this mascara. This mascara is good for day-to-day, which I sometimes use for going to work. This isn’t anything that I’d recommend to someone that likes to get the length and the volume to the lashes. I got this with my Glossybox which I was involved in last year.
I’ve brought this product before and I loved it, got it again and I hate it. It’s the No7 Perfectly Brozned – Dual Bronzer. I honestly don’t know how this works but I use to use it all the time, every day in fact. I loved the colour against my skin tone and it applied amazingly. Purchased it again and now I don’t like it. I have been using a Bronzer by Maybelline so that could be why. I’m comparing it, possibly? I won’t be purchasing this again, I might give it a go again soon but it just doesn’t apply to my skin the same.
The NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream – everyone loves these so don’t hate on me. I love the NYX Lingerie but I just can’t suss this one out on my lips. It doesn’t apply the same and I’m so confused on why. My lips are the same, and these are by the same brand. I am currently wearing the NYX Lingerie now and I’m slating this one. It just doesn’t sit on my lips the same way, and it went all funny after an hour or two – like bitty.
Lastly, the Maybelline Dream BB Bronze. Ok, I wanted to buy a BB cream as mine ran out ages ago. I wanted a BB Cream so I can be lazy and just apply this instead of the whole sha-bang of full faced make up. I didn’t realise there’s another one to this, I saw this and just picked it up – ‘that’ll do, sort of attitude’.  When picking the item up I didn’t take in the ‘Bronzed’ part. Al-mighty it’s bloody bronzed. I’ve tried wearing this twice and been asked both times if I’ve had a spray tan.. just on the face. Totally not ok, so this was a ‘seeya later’. I’ve got the Rimmel 9 BB Cream now which is so much better! If you’ve got any others to recommend, gimme a comment below! <3

Is there anything you’ve been disappointed with?

Yes me too!! I prefer the NYX Lingerie! How funny. I think it applies so much better and keeps it's colour for longer.
      Thank you for reading <3
