Who’s tired of Christmas? Me. Who’s tired of working? Me. Who’s needs to sit down with a glass of red? Me. Christmas is so exhausting and can really take it out of you. It’s totally worth it when waking up on Christmas morning, however girrrrl go treat yo’ self – I’m sure you deserve it.

Having a bubble bath. Lets get the bloody obvious out the way shall we? I will post this in every ‘ways to relax’ sort of post. It is my no.1 go to for ‘chill out’ time. There is nothing more relaxing than just sitting in a warm bubble bath, with candles, having a face mask on and hair masks of course. Go all out because you fricking deserve it girl. You can’t go through Christmas without having a good glass of wine to go along with it.

Watch a Christmas film. This is something that could also get you into the Christmas spirit pretttyy quickly. It doesn’t have to be a Christmas film – it could be taken if you fancied watching that. (Although taken is pretty intense for ‘relaxing time’. Don’t ya think?) Sitting in complete silence watching a film, with nibbles and just focusing on something to take your mind off all the presents you have to buy let alone your bills this month. HELLOOOOOOO overdraft.

Tension is who you think you should be.

Relaxation is who you are.

A little pampering session. Go get your nails all glitzy for Christmas, get yourself all pampered and ready for your Christmas meal/party. Go get your hair done for a special occasion. Or even just go to a local spa within your home town and sit in the Jacuzzi and act like your someone out of Made In Chelsea. Push the boat out and go get it done girl.

Do some baking. Ok some people don’t see baking/cooking very relaxing. I’m not going for the term ‘relaxing’ this time round I’m going for therapeutic. Might be just me that can relate to this point but I find baking/cooking relaxing when it’s something I’m excited to eat. It makes it very therapeutic for me. Maybe deep down I should be in the career of Master chef..

Read a book. Something that I do on an odd occasion, when I haven’t got a million other things I’ve got to/rather do. Sometimes it’s just nice to snuggle up on the sofa with a soft blanket and read a couple of chapters on your current book. Doesn’t this just sound so appealing right now?

How do you relax over Christmas?

My personal favourite is babble bath, of course. I enjoy writing for CustomWriting review in a bath with my favourite oils and saults. A relaxing process.

Somehow I am already relaxed just by reading this post 🙂 I really like your ideas, I wish I had more free times to do all of that during this winter. Thank you for posting!
