A New Beauty Find With PMD Kiss

Something a little different over on TaylorJane. We have this snazzy little kit by PMD!

This is a lip plumping system that I have been testing out.

This isn't something that I've tried before, and it's not something I'd purchase. It retails for £125, and for the size of the kit - I wouldn't personally even look at when shopping. You can find this kit over on Look Fantastic and find it also in/on Harrods website.

So the purpose of this kit is to :

- Increase the look and make your lips look fuller and plump.
- Reduce appearance of lines and wrinkles.
- Restore and revitalise your natural lip colour.
- After a long time of use it will create instant and long lasting results.

Along with the device you also have a lip plumping serum which works together to dramatically plump the look of your lips. When used continuously it helps boost collagen which increases the look of fullness and fades lip lines.

There are two different settings.

The standard speed - for a quick plump to your lips.
Low speed - For more of intense plump and targets different areas.

When using this I applied the lip plumping serum, and used it on the outer part of my lips and made my way into the middle. I allowed 10 pulses on each part, but I didn't see much of a difference. I went over my lips again for another 10 pulses - sometimes 15 and I could see a visible difference.

It doesn't feel uncomfortable, as it's just like a vibration on your lips. Maybe tickles if anything!

Verdict

Did I see a visible difference?

I did for starters, but it soon worn off after a couple of hours. I reckon if you continue to use this, then the longer it will last. Like I said before, I wouldn't reach out myself and buy this for the price it's at, but it could make the perfect gift for someone who wants more plumped lips but don't want to do it with needles.

You can find this over on Love Me Beauty's website for just 60 credits. Which is incredible considering it's over £100 in other stores.

You can also get 20% off your first Love Me Beauty bag this month which includes Caudalie, Kat Von D and more. Just use the code : taylorjane20 <---

P.S If you're wondering what lipstick I have on it's the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips in the shade Best Actress! <3

*This product was gifted to me but the review is my own opinion once tried and tested. *

  1. That lip colour is amazing! This sounds like it’s good for a temporary effect, but probably a tad expensive considering it’s not long-lasting.

    1. I reckon if you continuously use it then it might have the right outcome as it does encourage collagen, thank you for reading xx

  2. I'm not too sure how I feel about something like this, as I don't think I'd use it very often. It's great that you see results, but it's a shame they don't last xx

  3. This gadget looks amazing! I haven’t heard of it before. I’ve tried the ‘full lips’ suction thingy and again the results aren’t long lasting but it works pretty well considering it’s literally just a little suction cup. It has novelty value and not something I use much at all. These lip plumping gadgets encourage collagen production so I believe with longer term use the results improve. Thanks for sharing lovely.

  5. If it's not long lasting then it doesn't sound like it's worth the high price tag, which is a shame as for those self conscious about their lips I would imagine it would be useful to have a product that would help x

  7. This is definitely not worth the high price tag if it lasts no longer than a few hours, what a shame as it sounds like it could be a great alternative to getting fillers if it properly worked! Love that lip colour too!

  8. It's a shame it doesn't last longer! I wouldn't buy this either because of the price tag and my lips are quite full anyway and not something I've ever wanted to change. Enjoyed reading an honest review xx

  9. This sounds like a great product to use for those who would like to get their lips done, but don’t want lip fillers and maybe would prefer a more subtle look! Great review and that lip colour is gooorgeous xo

  11. Ooo I have one of these too but I haven’t tried it yet! I’m so intrigued though as I’ve always wanted my lips a little plumper to see what they would look like but I wouldn’t dream of using needles! So I can’t wait to give it a go. Also that lip colour is gorgeous!

  12. I'm really not into plump lips at all like everyone else seems to be! Mine are quite thin but look a little fuller with lipstick on and I'm happy with how natural they look!

  13. I do wish those results lasted longer. I wanted one of the original PMD devices so I think I'll continue to save up for that one instead! If they did have a cheaper version of this I think it'd be nice as a little pick me up!
