A Beauty Haul

Hello everyone!

I've been gone a while now, the longest I've been gone in forever.

I had a beautiful holiday in Gran Canaria, and decided that blogging wasn't going to happen whilst I was away. (If I'm totally honest, I wasn't organised enough for blogging to carry on whilst I was away!)

We didn't even spend half of our money on holiday, so we decided to do a random trip to London.

We caught the train at Swanwick yesterday morning, and headed straight there with no idea how our day was going to go.

However, for me it was very successful.

(Shopping I mean!)

So here's a little insight of what I got..

The Ordinary AHA 30% BHA 2% Peeling Solution
I've had my eyes on this for such a long time. How could I not pop into Deciem in Covent Gardens and not pick this up? So this is a 10 minute exfoliating facial, which sounds incredible and quick enough for me! It brightens the skin, and gives more of an even complexion to the skin. It improves your skin texture, and helps fight visible blemishes. However, now looking more into it - it does say not to use on sensitive skin, but me - I'll still give it a try.

The Ordinary Coverage Foundation
This is another product by The Ordinary, which I've been wanting to try for ages. I saw a lot of people rave about this foundation, along with the Serum foundation. I didn't fancy purchasing the two, so I've seen that more people rave about the coverage foundation than the serum one. I got the shade Very Fair, as I'm usually around this type of shade in other foundation brands. These foundations come in just over 20 different shades, which I think is amazing. The more shades you have for the foundation, the more likely you'll find the shade that suits your skin tone best.

The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil
Finally, the last one for The Ordinary which is this Moroccan Argan Oil for your hair. Since my holiday, my hair went super super dry. I didn't take anything for my hair, which was a silly mistake. This is why, this ended up in my bag. However, you can also use it on your skin! How amazing, two in one! For your hair, it adds a soft sheen and strength to it. For your face, it supports healthy looking skin and reduces the appearance of flaking.

Kiko Water Eye Shadow 235 + 209
I am O B S E S S E D with these eye shadows. The pigmentation is unreal. I currently have shade 200, which is a golden shade - so I decided to add another two to my collection. I went for a orange/bronzed shade, along with a khaki shade. These are gorgeous, head to my Instagram for swatches to soon follow.

3ina Longwear Lipstick
Not going to lie, I thought this brand was actually Mina, but there's a sneaky 3 in there. This is a new brand to me, I've never tried any of their products. Of course, I saw the words L O N G W E A R - so I had to buy it. I got it in the shade 503, which I personally think will be a great way to get back into the berry/autumnal colours. I don't suit the dark berry shades, so this is a little lighter - so hopefully I can get away with it.

3ina Cream Eyeshadow
I'm a sucker for cream eyeshadows, I find them so much more longer lasting. I got the shade 313 which is a golden/bronze shade. I'm a sucker for bronzed/brown shades for my eyes, I cannot wait to swatch this over on my Instagram too.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel
Yes, Lush have released, not only Halloween products but Christmas too. Everyone has gone crazy over it, but me - not me. However when popping into Lush I did spot this. Everyone raves about it so so SO much - I thought why not give it a try. Let's see what the whole obsession is!

Urban Decay Naked 2
Lastly, I got a new Urban Decay palette. I've got the Naked Heat palette, which everyone was going crazy about whilst standing at their till. However, this one caught my eye. There are so many creamy, velvet type shades which will go perfectly onto my eyes. I find them so much longer lasting, from the rose gold shades to the browns/bronze shades. Can you see? I'm a sucker for these shades. There's so many looks you can create with this palette, a smokey eye using these shades will be gorgeous and so out there.

That's a wrap!

I got a little spendy, spendy.

What's your favourite purchase this month?

  1. So glad you had a good time on holiday! You have picked up so many gorgeous things, can't believe I still haven't tried Kiko! I really need to go into Lush and pick up the new ranges, even though I do think I'm going to leave it a little bit later, so it's closer to the season xx

  2. Not spending all your money on holiday feels so good but it never happens to me haha! But what an amazing haul to do when you got home! I really want to try the new The Ordinary foundation and some bits from 3ina and Kiko I've heard such good things about it all! Always love a good Urban Decay palette too! I only jumped on the Snow Fairy bandwagon last year as well and honestly fell in love and then bought like 3 bottles in the Boxing Day sale! Haha I went a little crazy... but it's so good! I need the other Snow Fairy products this year. I can't believe all the Christmas stuff is already out though! (I'm excited). Great post!
