Summer Skin Care Routine

When the seasons change, I like to change up my skincare routine. I feel like this is a great way to try out new products and brands. Once I find that skincare routine, I stick to it and sometimes switch to another brand when I've gone through a whole bottle. I'm a super skincare addict, I enjoy doing my skincare routine morning and night. I feel like it's the most refreshing feeling when it's all done and your ready for bed. It also makes me the most wide awake person in the mornings, after using all my creams and serums.

Before anything else, I like to use the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water. I go through this like anybodies business. I reckon a bottle a month, and I'm talking about the 700ml bottles. The main thing that I love about Garnier that most of their products are fab for sensitive skin. It removes the make up and cleanses the skin. Although it cleanses the skin, I still like to use a cream cleanser afterwards. You can use this product all over the face, including your eyes. It's gentle on the eyes, and removes any dirt on your skin too.

After removing my make up, I like to go in with the cleanser. To do so, I use the Garnier Skin Active Soothing Botanical Cleansing Milk with Rose Water. (A bit of a mouthful.) This one is suitable for dry and sensitive skin. You don't need much of this as a little goes a long way. I just apply a 5 pence piece onto a make up pad and spread it in circle motions. ( Like you do with everything!) It also smells amazing too. It leaves your skin feeling super duper smooth, and that's just what we like.

Once cleansed, I move onto the toner. I use the L'oreal Fine Flowers toner. This range is super super gorgeous. From the scent to the formula, I just love it. It's like a water formula, so you don't need too much with this product either. It has a combination of Rose which is known for it's soothing and comforting the skin, and also Jasmine for protecting and moisturising the skin. With this you avoid the eye area, but you sweep it across your face and neck with a cotton pad. It leaves you with the perfectly cleansed complexion.

Lastly, I like to use the L'oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water. I have been using this endlessly since I purchased it. I'm easily half way through the bottle. It says to just pump a couple of times, but I like to do it a few more because I like to make sure my face and neck are covered. So you switch this up with your daily moisturiser, and trust me it's a goody. You apply this morning and night, like everything else alone or after your serums. It smells so clean and fresh, and that's exactly what it does for my skin. It's totally amazing, and I'd recommend this to everyone. Of course, I have picked this up for sensitive skin but there's a whole range of different ones to suit everyones skin type.

I like to also add in a facial mask through the week. I like to stick to just once a week, as some facial masks brings out the spots and etc and I can't have that throughout the whole week you know. We want our skin to be glowing and looking hydrated. I like to use The Body Shop range of facial masks or Garnier sheet masks. My total favourites, however I've just picked up a few from Soap & Glory so watch out - they'll be reviews coming soon.

What's your holy grail when it comes to skin care?

    1. I do go through it quite easily as I use it morning and night. I use it when I don't even have any make up to remove just incase of any dirt or oiliness. I absolutely love the stuff!
