HOW TO START YOUR MORNING #GIRLBOSS STYLE

Sunday morning and I'm just having a total me morning. Lee has gone to football and I'm going to kick start my morning with a little pamper and getting some work done. I've now decided to post Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This is so I can have my weekends back, and not work as much over the time I have off from my full time job. When it comes to busy days throughout the week and the weekends, I like to be fully prepared and ready to get up and start my day. It helps having the attitude to and maybe a coffee or two to kick it really #girlboss style. <3


__PLAN THE NIGHT AHEAD__
Whether you need to organise what you're going to wear for the next day, or how you're going to have your hair/make up. Plan it and organise it the night before. This will save you so much time - especially if you're someone like me who could um and urm all day about what to put on my back.

__FULL BODY SHOWER__
Having to wash your hair? Do it in the morning. You might have to set your alarm half hour earlier than usual. Although it'll be totally worth it. Getting your face under that shower head as well as your legs will make you feel 1000000 times more awake. Also if you sweat a lot in bed like me (when mum has the heating on a thousand degrees) - at least that way you haven't got to worry if you got the greasy hair look.

__WHEN YOUR ALARM GOES OFF - GET UP__
 As soon as your alarm goes off, that's it - be awake. Repeatedly snoozing your alarm to go off again will make you ten times more tired. I've heard/read that it does make you feel more tired going back to sleep. Like when do you ever wake up from a nap and feel like you could conquer the world? Never.

__START YOUR DAY EARLY__
Weekends go by so quickly right? Before you know it - it's Monday again. The one day everyone seems to struggle at. However, if you start your day early, you'll get so much more fitted in. When you have lots of things to go and do then your days go by so much slower.  Even if it's getting up going for a walk and a nice coffee somewhere, you then still got the whole afternoon to squeeze in what you fancy! Spending the morning in bed makes your day go so much faster, and when it hits 2pm you'll be wondering where the day has gone.


__SKIN ROUTINE, THE NIGHT BEFORE__
Cleanse, tone, moisturise, even throw in a face mask when you're chilling the evening before. Prepare your skin for a good, productive day. You don't want to squeeze that in, in the morning -  it'll just be a total sham.

  1. Great post! I always try to plan the night ahead as it makes me more productive. I like to write all of my blog and life tasks down. I'm really happy that I decided to wake up early even on the days when I don't necessary need to. xi

  3. I love a good prep session. I always lay out my clothes for the morning and even down to the order I put on my make up and hair brushes etc! It really does make the day so much easier to get on with. Also getting up when your alarm goes off - I totally agree as when I get up when the alarm goes off I am so focused but snoozing really does make things a lot harder! You snooze you loose!
