5 BEAUTY CONFESSIONS

It's Mid-Week and that just means one thing. Hump day, and pay day. The perfect combo for me! There's so many things us bloggers don't actually do but everyone just assumes we do. We post about how we clean our make up brushes and have the total attitude how important it is, but don't actually keep on top of it every time. The selfie we upload with our make up looking pretty smoking' actually took a rough hour and a bit to actually do - that wing took 15 attempts until it looked pretty similar to the good eye. I can count on one hand my beauty confessions..

__I USE MAKE UP WIPES__
Everyone knows how easy and quick they are. No I don't ONLY use them. I cleanse, moisturise and tone afterwards. It's when I'm in a rush to just chill out, when I feel like crap just quickly remove my make up using these and then do the whole sha-bang before bed. Plus Simple make up wipes are zee best. I'm a loyal customer to my Simple products, perfect for sensitive skin. The best to recommend.

__I DON'T KEEP UP ON WASHING MY BEAUTY TOOLS__
I'm not no Kim Woodburn. (If you don't know her, she's got a famous career out of cleaning. Lol.) I don't even wash my beauty blenders, I just buy new ones. Bloody ridiculous I know, I just don't have the time to sit and clean them all let alone me brushes. Just to put it out there, I do clean but probably not as often as I should do.

__WING EYELINER HAS BEEN PROVEN DIFFICULT__
I have gotten better at this as time has gone on. However a little bit of tape just under the eye makes the perfect line and makes me look like a perfectionist. Having no tape and just going free hand, has made me end up with the wing half way across my head. Terrible, just terrible. Lol.

__SKINCARE ROUTINE DOESN'T ALWAYS HAPPEN__
We all have them evenings were we just want to get it over and done with and climb into bed. Nothing better than snuggling under your quilt. It's not so cosy standing in front of the mirror applying different creams/serums.

__I HAVEN'T TRIED..__
I've not tried loads of brands. Such as, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Bourjois, Sleek and so many more. I'd like to get round with trying them all, I just have more of an obsession with American brands and I have to pay for that stinking charge every time. SO ANNOYING.

__I HATE LIP LINERS__
Maybe I haven't actually given them a really good go, to prove to myself they are any good. However I'm just pretty happy with my lipsticks, gloss, mattes and etc. They do the job for me, pretty well. I just haven't got a steady hand, and I end up making a total mess.

Have you got any confessions about anything?

  1. I also love American brands but charlotte tilbury, nars and bourjois are 3 of my fave brands! You need to try them 🙈 I literally love bourjois healthy mix foundation over all of my high end foundations 🙊!

    1. I've heard so many good reviews about the Bourjois foundations, I really need to get my hands on one! My next purchase will be also one of the Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks so that will be two I'll be trying out.
